Goals
Experimental bench assembly for multiphase flow measurements in heat exchangers for the oil and gas segment.
Motivation
To allow tests in various categories of multiphase flow (oil, gas and water) in a wide range of flow and thermodynamic conditions.
Available resources
Pumps; Vacuum pump; Fast cameras; Laser Doppler; ECT Tomography; Data acquisition systems; flow meters; PIV / PTV / Imaginig analysis software; Fluent; Ansys etc. Resources will be available soon.
Expected results
Performance evaluation and certification of heat exchangers certification. In addition, numerical packages for performance evaluation and selection will be developed.
